I am delighted to have the endorsement of independent councillor Greg Maskalick. Greg is chair of Ockbrook and Borrowash Parish Council. He also serves as a councillor on Erewash Borough Council. Greg is not a member of a political party, but he works with anyone he can in the interests of the community he serves. If I am elected on Thursday, I will continue to work with Greg to save Briar Close House care home in Borrowash. The home, which cares for older people, faces closure by its owner Derbyshire County Council. It is a hugely valued service and we must fight to save it.
