I spent some time with EBC Councillor Greg Maskalick last week. Greg is an independent councillor serving on Erewash Borough Council. He also chairs Ockbrook and Borrowash Parish Council. I support Greg’s calls to save Briar Close House – a care home for older people in Borrowash which is at risk of closure by Derbyshire County Council. Greg and I have a shared love of music, so it was good to speak with him about my campaigning for the creative industries and arts subjects in schools too.
