It was brilliant to join the shadow health secretary, Wes Streeting, when he visited the area today to talk about the first steps Labour would take in government. Six pledges, launched by Keir Starmer today, include delivering the economic stability we have been lacking under the Tories. Interest rates and inflation have skyrocketed under the Tories, leaving people across Mid Derbyshire worse off. The pledges also include providing 40,000 more hospital appointments each week, funded by tackling tax avoidance and non-dom loopholes.
