It was good to speak with several residents in Allestree who share my passion for the creative industries, our arts and culture. The creative industries are a vital part of the economy. They are key to supporting our communities too. Creative subjects are falling off the timetable in many schools, and many of our cultural institutions face an uncertain future. I will always champion music, the arts and culture for all.
