It’s a clean sweep for Labour in Mid Derbyshire! Thousands of people across the constituency voted Labour in the mayoral and police commissioner elections, backing Claire Ward for East Midlands Mayor and Nicolle Ndiweni. From Belper to Allestree, Borrowash to West Hallam, and everywhere in between, people put their trust in Labour and voted for a fresh start. Labour also won a by-election for Belper Town Council, where Ciaran Fallon secured a healthy majority. Thank you to everyone who supported us! The next challenge is to make sure Mid Derbyshire gets a Labour MP and Britain gets a Labour government. After 14 years of the Tories, it’s time to get on the road to recovery.
