It was excellent to welcome pupils and staff from St Werburgh’s Primary School, Spondon, to Parliament today.
The young people had a tour of the site, learning about Parliament’s history and its role.
They also asked insightful questions about issues they care about. These covered the environment, homelessness, the cost of food and smoking.
All schools can visit Parliament, and it makes a great school trip.
