I met with John Forkin from Marketing Derby, an organisation dedicated to promoting what Derby has to offer to business, and encouraging investment here. Its work will provide opportunities to drive economic growth and job creation in the region.
Mid Derbyshire and the wider area have a lot to offer to businesses, with relatively lost costs, a skilled workforce and great transport links. Inward investment in our region is a core driver of economic growth and I will do what I can to support it.
