I’m delighted that Morley Primary School in Mid Derbyshire is one of 24 schools across Derbyshire to be a Breakfast Club Early Adopter.
Starting this week, 750 School Breakfast Clubs are now in operation across the country, serving primary students a good first meal of the day, protecting their health and wellbeing whilst giving them the fuel to focus and learn.
When this is combined with Labour’s early years childcare offer, parents of young pupils could now save up to £8,000 a year.
This is part of Labour’s Plan for Change, and it will make such a big different to families right across the country.
I can’t wait to visit Morley Primary to see how the Breakfast Club is going, and hear from teachers and students about the impact it’s making.
